We look forward to hearing from you!

Previous Workshops included:

  • Scene Study Group: a series of workshops where participants worked on scenes with partners, organised by Amanda VanOsdol.
  • Sondheim in Song: a series of workshops and performance(s), organised by Georgia Gray and Louise Roche. This workshop is finished.
  • IP Chorus: workshops/rehearsals and performance(s), organised by Graham Bushnell.

The IP Chorus was a new venture last season. The aim was to give participants the chance to sing in a group and sing a cappella (unaccompanied). The IP Chorus was featured in our production of Season’s Greetings by Alan Ayckbourn, singing some short and rather offbeat arrangements of Christmas Carols. While singing in a group setting has been put on hold, we look forward to welcoming you to our Chorus as soon as it is again safe to do so.

For more information contact Graham Bushnell (bushnellgraham@gmail.com).

Workshops are held throughout the year. They are free for International Players members.

Workshops are led by volunteer experts in their various fields. Directors, choreographers, vocal coaches, actors, stage managers and production managers (and more!) all have specialised knowledge. Come get an inside perspective and expand your theatre knowledge, all while having a tonne of fun. You never know, you might find yourself using your newly learned knowledge in an upcoming production. Or perhaps you will discover a new love for making props, designing sets, or dancing!

We are always on the lookout for new topics. If you would be interested in leading one, please get in touch and tell us what you’d like to teach us! Also, if you have a suggestion for a topic that you would love to see a workshop on, please tell us and we will see what we can do.
