International Players

Based in the western suburbs of Paris (Saint-Germain-en-Laye and Le Pecq), International Players is a friendly, dynamic, and truly international group, with members from Ireland, Canada, the UK, the USA, Canada, Australia, the Netherlands, France, South Africa, Germany, New Zealand, Sweden and many others.

Something for Everyone

We welcome members of all ages with a variety of talents. Acting, singing, set-designing and stage management are all needed to put together a show! Some have professional and/or amateur backgrounds, while for many others, joining this group is their first theatre experience.

The group rehearses and performs to the west of Paris, mainly in St-Germain-en-Laye and Le Pecq. For those based in Paris, it is an easy 30 minutes by car or public transport.

Many members have full-time jobs, while others are retired, with time for bigger projects. Rehearsals take place on weekday evenings or on weekends. There are also plenty of creative and behind-the-scenes opportunities. Big tasks such as set building can take place on weekdays or weekends.

We also put on play readings and workshops throughout the year — free for members!

Community Spirit

We are an English-speaking community of people who love all things theatre. With a huge range of nationalities and backgrounds, our diversity is our strength. Not only do we work together to create great shows, we learn from each other and get to know each other. Our social events are important in our calendar, and we love to celebrate and support each others’ success. Above all, we are an open and welcoming community.
